OzzFest PNC New Jersey
A few weeks before the Ozzfest meltdown in California- MF.com metal die hards were fortunate enough to check out a great Ozzfest show in New Jersey. For those metal heads around the world checking out this Metal Minute- NY /NJ by far has the greatest party metal vibe- and if you ever make it into metal country- you need to go and check out a show. The weather was perfect- for a perfect metal night, and the overall atmosphere and vibe added to the great music. Iron Maiden stole the show, and Sabbath with Ozzy didn't disappoint.

If you do happen to go to a metal show in the NYC area- make sure you be on the look out for Jimmy Duff and the metal world famous Duff's party mobile. Ex . Bellevue Bar owner Jimmy Duff- now owner of Duff's Brooklyn- know's how to throw a metal party!
A quick tour of the parking lots and you can't miss the metal bus- sure to be in the parking lot- with a ton of metal babes sporting Duff's Brooklyn and other various metal T's- for the real metal adventure- jump back on the bus and head to Duff's Brooklyn for the best post metal parties. Bands from Halford, Children of Bodom, Iron Maiden, Doro and even Mistress Juliya from Uranium have been known to hang at Duff'- check out the new Duff's website at http://duffsbrooklyn.com/home.shtml

Motley Crue- Tinley Park, Chicago
If your going to go to a Crue concert- you might as well go in style- so a bunch of metal heads from MF.com decided to rent a limo- in order to do it right and hit this show. Two quick things of note- 1) Metal chics in Chicago are hotter than any other metal city in the country- 2) You can't take Motley Crue all that seriously.

Motley Crue pretty much gives fans what you would expect- solid tunes that you recognize and love (including some old ripping tunes like Red Hot and Too Fast for Love)- along with crazy literal circus like acts. Throw in the mix your typical stripper chicks on stage- and of course Tommy Lee's “Tit” cam- and you have a typically evening with Motley Crue. Worth checking out for the party metal scene that follows. WordN of note, stay in the parking lots for that piece of crab Sub 71 or whatever that lame ass excuse for a metal wanna be opening act that opened the show!

Arch Enemy- Doomsday Machine
Every once and awhile a metal CD will come along that rank as immediate metal masterpieces. We think Arch Enemey might have done it this time. This is one of those killer CD's that simply rips from opening track all the way through. Crisp, catchy metal riffs, heavy guitars- and a ton of melodic moments, make this CD a MUST buy! Plus, Angela finally comes to her own, and fits in tremendously well with the rest of the music. While admittedly, Angela's death growls can where on some, this time around- the voice simply seems to fit- check out http://archenemy.net/

Metal Monday's- Chicago 10 PM- 4 AM
